It is easy to read, the learning objectives and case studies complement the subject area within each chapter, and the figures and diagrams keep the reader interested. This is the best book on the market for anyone studying biomedical science or related fields.

The chapter on Health and Safety is a particular strength and provides valuable information about legal requirements in the workplace as well as risk assessment procedures that are relevant to both biological and chemical laboratory work. I do not think there is another book that provides the same range of information in one place.
