    Wow, det här är bra! Det känns som att hitta källan till varje film, varje bok, varje pjäs, varje serie du någonsin har sett och tyckt varit sådär lite mörkt och olycksbådande... kool. LA-kool. Eller som Sunday Times uttrycker det: "One of the greatest crime writers, who set standards others still try to attain." Det är en läsvärd, underhållande och spännande historia. Miljöerna, personbeskrivningarna och dialogerna är fantastiska! Och alla oneliners.
