    Återvänder till "hardboiled"-genren och gör det mycket bra. Tematiskt lik hans tidiga böcker och mindre av de m blekare böcker han skrivit på senare tid

    Få kan återge miljöer och personer som LeHane. Det är socialpolitik där rasismen styr. Detta samhälle är
    nederst på den sociala skalan där vardagen är mörk.
