Intressant avslutning på trilogin

Reynolds fortsätter berättelsen om släkten Akinya. Liksom tidigare har det gått något sekel mellan böckernas respektive historier.
Börjar lite förvirrande med många hänvisningar till tidigare händelser, som jag först trodde att jag glömt bort från förra boken, men som visar sig ha skett i mellanperioden efter On the Steel Breeze.
Allt förklaras så småningom och utvecklas till en spännande berättelse med storslagna perspektiv.

a novel that works brilliantly as a space adventure and also reads, touchingly, almost as an atheist's reflection on why a kind of optimistic agnosticism may be a useful approach to finding contentment * SFX * It's grand, involving and full of light and wonder. Alastair Reynolds was born in Barry, South Wales, in 1966. He studied at Newcastle and St Andrews Universities and has a Ph.D. in astronomy. He stopped working as an astrophysicist for the European Space Agency to become a full-time writer. REVELATION SPACE, PUSHING ICE and HOUSE OF SUNS were shortlisted for the ARTHUR C.
