Alice Butcher and Ginny Farquhar run a successful crafting business, "Folkydokee", creating quirky and original textile gifts from recycled and vintage fabrics. They have exhibited at Country Living magazine's fairs and their work has featured in numerous magazines including Bride and House and Garden. They are the authors of Sew Fabulous Fabric (D&C 2008). Alice and Ginny live in Hampshire.|Ginny Farquhar and Alice Butcher are experienced D&C authors with a proven track record. They previously ran their own company, Folkydokee Handmade, making gorgeous textile products from recycled fabrics. Since writing their second D&C title, Home Sweet Sewn, they have been running sewing and craft classes for children and teenagers, which has given them a huge insight into teaching children sewing.
