    Mycket välgjord mix av historisk roman och skräck. Man kan kalla den för historic horror. Handling utspelas uunder ett vagntågs färd västerut på 1840-talet. Personerna är, till stor del, byggda på riktiga historiska personer. I vagntåget finns konflikter men det verkar som om de inte är ensamma utan som om något följer med dem, något som är hungrigt! Kan rekommenderas för de som gillar en långsamt uppskruvad spänning.

A graduate of the Masters writing program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Alma Katsu worked briefly in advertising and PR before moving into the intelligence world, working as a senior analyst for several US agencies, including the CIA and the American equivalent of GCHQ.
