秦士蔚甲骨文篆刻书法作品集Qin Shiwei Oracle Seal Carving and Calligraphy Art Collection
De som köpt den här boken har ofta också köpt Beautiful Trips to Chinese Cities 美å... av Liansheng Han (häftad).
Köp båda 2 för 997 kri was surprised how well the book helped to give expression to the breadth and beauty of qin shiwei's art. at first glance it would appear as a random collection of his work, but as i realized how hard it is to reproduce these carvings, the spatial technique involved, inverse text versus raised script effects, yet capturing that inner beauty of primitive expression, i began to appreciate the thought and effort it took hui pang to arrange, freshen up and preserve qin's works of art in this book. it gives me a feeling of connection with ancient humans involved in bone script rituals, facing troubles in a primitive world and looking for answers in foretelling and seers, no different from people today consulting "experts" to find answers for their destinies.

in this era of fast food culture, reading a book a day is very common and even worth showing off. however, this is a book worthy of long-term appreciation.for those who aren't proficient in oracle script or seal cutting, this collection serve as a good read for appreciation.
for those who are scholars and experts, this collection is a great reference for further study of chinese primitive calligraphy.
this book not only shows how qin shiwei reincarnated oracle script and brought attention to the beauty of it, but also presents how the selection of qin shiwei's work reflects him as a person through 20th century china. pang's ability to achieve both effortlessly and deliver them vividly to the reader is something that i admire and respect.
