As the Library of Congress's fifth National Ambassador for Young People's Literature, he advocates for the importance of reading, especially reading diversely. Les McClaine is the author of the Eisner Award-nominated Jonny Crossbones, as well as the comic book series Highway 13, The Tick, and The Middleman. Alison Acton is a Canadian artist with a background in comics and traditional animation who has worked for Spumco, Pocket Gems, Big Jump, HarperCollins, Tokyopop, and First Second.
