    Här har författaren verkligen tagit i. Mänskligheten mot en art av spindlar som utvecklats med människans hjälp. En virusinfektion som pressar fram mer och mer intelligens och storlek med varje generation. Mycket läsvärd och värd att begrunda!

    Jag läser verkligen inte mycket men från sida två var jag uppslukad av denna episka bok och sträckläste den. Älskar du sci-fi är detta definitivt boken för dig. Rekommenderar den varmt.

    Garanterat en av de bästa böckerna från modern tid jag läst, ny på min personliga topp-lista. Rekommenderar denna bok för alla som har ett intresse av sci-fi! Fantastiskt intressant historia, välskrivna karaktärer och konflikter, riktigt fascinerande perspektiv på utveckling, empati, konflikt, religion, makt och så mycket mer.
    10/10 kan inte rekommendera nog.

Adrian Tchaikovsky was born in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire before heading off to Reading to study psychology and zoology. For reasons unclear even to himself he subsequently ended up in law and has worked as a legal executive in both Reading and Leeds, where he now lives. Married, he is a keen live role-player and occasional amateur actor, has trained in stage-fighting, and keeps no exotic or dangerous pets of any kind, possibly excepting his son. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Shadows of the Apt series, Echoes of the Fall series, and Children of Time, the winner of the 30th Anniversary Arthur C. Clarke Award for Best Science Fiction Novel.
