    Författarinnan har sina förfäder bland de nordamerikanska indianerna, men har skolats in i västerländsk vetenskap. Det har präglat hennes förhållningssätt till allt levande i naturen och till livet i största allmänhet. I boken förenar hon i ett utomordentligt vackert språk sina botaniska kunskaper, sina förfäders historia och synpunkter på den amerikanska (västerländska?) livsstilen.
    Boken är vacker på flera sätt och inspirerar till att gå ut och betrakta vår natur mera ingående, samtidig... Läs hela recensionen
