    Den är en mycket modern bok med bra information om hur man kan skapa trädgård i tiderna med ekologiska problem. Idéerna är presenterade på ett pedagogiskt sätt och ger mycket inspiration. Den är väldigt användbar och intressant.

    Piet Oudolf beskriver formgivning av trädgårdar och parker där han alltmer närmar sig det naturliga. Dvs att i en grundplantering med gräs eller enkla, tåliga perenner spränger in avvikande växter, så som det ser ut i naturen. Det är detaljerat med ritningar och vackra fotografier.

    Great book packed with information for planning plantations,and interesting reading for garden historians.
    Technical plant information excellent, Latin names used throughout the book making it useful even for non English native speakers, well illustrated.

Piet Oudolf is among the worlds most innovative garden designers and a leading exponent of naturalistic planting, a style that takes inspiration from nature but employs artistic skill in creating planting schemes. Oudolf's extensive work over 30 years of practice includes public and private gardens all over the world. He is best known for his work on the High Line and Battery Park in New York, the Lurie Garden in Chicago's Millennium Park, and Potters Fields in London.Noel Kingsbury is a researcher, writer, and teacher. A gardener since childhood, he has run a nursery, designed gardens and public spaces, and done doctoral research at the University of Sheffields Department of Landscape on the ecology of ornamental perennials. He lives and gardens in the Welsh Borders near Hay-on-Wye.
