Isabela Villas Boas holds an MTESL Degree from Arizona State University and a Doctorate in Education from Universidade de Braslia. She is the Academic Superintendent of Casa Thomas Jefferson, where she has been teaching for 29 years. She has presented in conferences and written articles on various topics, such as assessment, second language writing, and teacher development. Katy Cox was born in Montana and lived for many years in California prior to Brazil. She has a B.A. in English and Journalism and an M.A. in TESL/TEFL from San Francisco University. She has been at Casa Thomas Jefferson, a Binational Center in Braslia, Brazil, since 1971 and held the position of General Academic Coordinator for many years. She is now an Academic Consultant.
