Associate Professor Wayne Hall holds a PhD from the University of Warwick and a PGCert in Learning and Teaching from the University of Plymouth. He is a member of Engineers Australia and is a registered Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng). Associate Professor Hall has held teaching and research appointments at the University of Warwick, University of Nottingham and University of Plymouth in the UK, and at Deakin University and Griffith University in Australia. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, mostly in the area of fibre-reinforced composites and advanced materials. He is a passionate teacher with interests that include: materials; mechanics of materials; and design and manufacturing-related courses.¿Zia Javanbakht is a lecturer at Griffith University and a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng). His background is in Structural Engineering and Solid Mechanics. His research focuses on developing continuum mechanical and computational models of composite materials and auxetics.
