The absurd life of the cat people and the chaotic and ugly social chaos make "e;I"e; desperate; the various systems of the Cat Country are fundamentally corrupt, and the invasion of foreign troops has accelerated the collapse of the Cat Country. "e;I"e; witnessed the demise of the cat people and finally returned to the earth... This story uses black humor to allude to the state of the Republic of China. It has a meaning that transcends the times to a certain extent, and is unique among many of Lao She's novels.
